@MiddleAgedQueer @groove_sdc I have friends who were active when AIDS stalked the LGBT community, “faggot” and “dyke” were routinely hurled at anyone who was out, and “queer” was a slur. They decided nobody, especially haters, got to define them, and they chose “queer” deliberately. I salute them, and you.
